On January 1, 2010, Cancer Services set the stage for a great day of cycling, food and fun to honor those who have looked cancer in the eye and refused to give in.
Thanks to everyone for an incredible event - many have asked how they can help Cancer Services after the Ride for Courage is completed. Simply visit the donate section of their Web site to donate online and learn more about this great nonprofit organization. And remember to mark your calendar for New Year's Day, 2011, and ride with us!
So, why ride on New Year's Day?
It takes courage to face the reality of a cancer diagnosis. While it will never match the fortitude required to battle cancer, we invite you to dig deep, face the frost and hop on your bike as we raise money for Cancer Services in Winston-Salem.

Join us for the 2010 Ride for Courage: Polar Bear Metric Century - the traditional metric century route is a great way to test your pre-season legs but we'll also have the 30+-mile route.
See all you polar bears there!
Thanks to all the cyclists, sponsors and volunteers that made the Fifth Annual Ride for Courage - Polar Bear Metric Century 2009 a great success. Great news! We raised over $19,000 to help Cancer Services do its thing. See you in 2010!
