Thanks to all the cyclists, sponsors and volunteers that made the Fifth Annual Ride for Courage - Polar Bear Metric Century a great success.

Great news! We raised over $18,500 to help Cancer Services do its thing. See you in 2010!

On January 1, 2009, Cancer Services invites you out for a great day of cycling, food and fun to honor those who have looked cancer in the eye and refused to give in.

So, why ride on New Year's Day?
It takes courage to face the reality of a cancer diagnosis. While it will never match the fortitude required to battle cancer, we invite you to dig deep, face the frost and hop on your bike as we raise money for Cancer Services in Winston-Salem.

New for 2009: Our Registration Sponsor, The Phoenix Company, has made it possible to offer all cyclists registered by December 15, 2008 the opportunity to win great prizes from all the area bike shops. Don't miss your chance to win some great gear and goodies - register now!

Join us for the 2009 Ride for Courage: Polar Bear Metric Century - the traditional metric century route is a great way to test your pre-season legs but we'll also have the 30+-mile route.

See all you polar bears there!
